Military units of the National Army found 191 magazines and 4,300 cartridges inside a metal container.
Thanks to a military operation, coordinated with the National Police and interagency with the Criminal Investigation Section, it was possible to find a metal structure which had been sent through commercial courier from the department of Caquet谩 to the municipality of Llorente, in the department of Nari帽o.
Military intelligence was important to track this cargo, which arrived the city of Pasto. Immediately, all security protocols were activated and military units proceeded to check the content. 191 magazines and more than 4,300 cartridges were found.
This material would have been used by Organized Armed Groups to attack the Military Forces in the coast of Nari帽o and to fear civilians.
This command invites the inhabitants of the Colombian southwest to denounce any suspicious activity that puts the security and wellbeing at risk in the department of Nari帽o.
