Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Plan, troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), attached to the Thirteenth Brigade of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, arrested alias John, alleged logistical coordinator of the Tren de Aragua, in Bogot谩, who would be responsible for selling and renting weapons for the crime group in the capital city of the country.
After months of investigative and intelligence work, the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) officials, together with the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) commandos, arrived at a house in the locality of Bosa, where the individual was in possession of 3 short weapons, 2 long weapons, 5 magazines, 130 cartridges and more than 6 million pesos in cash.
The arrested man, who had a record for extortion and kidnapping, as well as the war material found, was put into custody of the judicial authorities.
In this way, the troops of Colombian National Army strike the illegal finances of the criminal structures that attack the life and good physical condition of Colombians and reaffirm their commitment to the security of the center of the country.
