Troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) - Nariño, in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office, arrested the main ringleader of the criminal structure called La Segunda Marquetalia, who is commanded by alias El Comandante Mario or El Tio.
In the municipality of Piedrancha of the Mallama municipality, through a checkpoint coordinated with the SIJIN (JUDICIAL POLICE) of the National Police, the arrest warrant was made effective on Delio Antonio Rosero Bolaños.
This operation is the result of an investigation that took place over three months, when 20 members of this criminal structure were arrested in the city of Ipiales, thus impairing command, control and obtaining almost total dismantling.
The arrested individual was member of the FARC dissidents and was in charge of collecting money from extortion of the owners of gas stations and commercial establishments. He was in the same way the exporter of drug trafficking to the country of Ecuador from the interference zone of the municipalities of Ricaurte, Barbacoas, Mallama and Ipiales in Nariño.
Another of the operations to highlight is the one carried out by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) – Meta, together with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office who arrested alias Miguel, a member of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Jorge Briceño, who was required by the Colombian justice for the crimes of extortion kidnapping, torture, forced displacement, manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms.
