During the month of April 2020, the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) capture 19 individuals for the crime of extortion. Citizens stopped paying $ 56,500,000 pesos for this situation, and 7 extortions in the country were directly thwarted.
In the framework of these operations, it is worth noting the one carried out by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of C贸rdoba, in support of the Colombian Air Force, after a review of information provided by the community about extortion in the C贸rdoba region, arrived at the village Ca帽o Pescado in the municipality of Pueblo Nuevo Popales in the municipality of Ayape.
In this military operation, they recover four minors of age (three boys and one girl), who were in the hands of five criminals, including three men and two women, who used them for the purpose of recruiting minors.
The minors had four wooden rifles in their possession for their training and indoctrination. The individuals put into custody of the authorities are members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, Uldar Cardosa Rueda Substructure.
Thus, the Military Gaula continue to invite the community to denounce kidnapping and extortion through line 147, where people can receive assistance 24 hours a day and in the frame of the #YoNoPagoYoDenuncio campaign.
