The apprehension of these individuals was possible in the sector known as La Gaira, Department of Magdalena. A ton of cocaine hydrochloride was found at the scene ready to be marketed.
In the course of military operations of territorial control, troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Caribe in coordinated and institutional work with the judicial police, the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) and the prosecutor's Office 43, the specialized Directorate against drug trafficking, carried out, through judicial search procedure, the capture of three individuals, who apparently intended to take truck-type vehicle to transport a ton of cocaine hydrochloride.
According to intelligence work, these individuals were apparently members of the Organized Gang, GDO (in Spanish), Los Pachencas, a criminal organization in this area of the country.
During the raid, a ton of cocaine hydrochloride was seized; two vehicles, communication equipment and cash were in the same way seized. Those captured were put into custody of the authorities, in order to carry out the judicial process.
With this result, the illicit activities of the Los Pachencas are hit by approximately 115,000 million pesos.
