Important results have been achieved by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in Tolima, this year, achieving the dismantling of two criminal groups which perpetrated extortions in different modalities; these operations have been possible thanks to the timely denunciation of the victims.
That is why, to continue attacking on this situation, the whole community is reached with training so that people don’t become victims of extortion and kidnapping, through the campaign “I do not pay, I denounce”. In figures this year there has been a significant reduction in kidnapping, the number of cases is zero and extortion has a decrease of 7.5 percent.
The community is invited to continue denouncing through the toll-free line 147, where men of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) with absolute reserve will attend denunciations and then operations will be generated for the safety of the victims.
The men of Military Gaula of the department of Tolima, will continue to reduce these crimes that harm the tranquility of the community, especially with the modalities already known as 'Uncle or Aunt', relative captured, Sicilian or face-to-face, sexual blackmail in networks, stolen vehicles, lower amounts and savings plan or the Jackpot.
