The 10,000 rapid tests for the diagnosis of covid-19 will be conducted on the assistance personnel of the Military Health Establishments of the different branches, who are in the front line of the battle against the coronavirus due to their close contact with possible infected people.
This acquisition, made by the General Directorate of Military Health, took place thinking on the permanent care and well-being of doctors, nurses and all health personnel, who are exposed to contagion fulfilling the inherent duty to preserve the health of all users of the Health Subsystem of the Colombian Military Forces.
The objective is to provide immediately and effectively measures to reduce the risk of being carriers and infect other patients, colleagues or even family members. In this way, it will be possible to optimize the provision of the service and at the same time guarantee safe conditions for all patients and health workers.
