During a joint operation conducted by the National Army, the Colombian Air Force and coordinated with the National Police, in the rural area of Puerto Nemota, in Quibd贸, department of Choc贸, it was possible to capture four members of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) Clan del Golfo of the subgroup Carlos V谩squez.
Maintaining the operations against violence-generating agents who commit crimes in the department of Choc贸, the operation was carried out against the GAO Clan del Golfo, in which Air Force aircraft and Army troops participated, who fought the members of this subgroup. Three rifles, magazines, military accessories for the exclusive use of the Military Forces and communications equipment were seized.
Accompanied by the Attorney General's Office, the Military Forces dealt the Clan del Golfo a heavy blow, since aliases Visaje, Guacho, Dub谩n and Alacr谩n were captured. That prevents terrorist operations planned to hit civilians and Military Forces.
