In the event, war material, military and communications accessories were seized.

As a result of the permanent operation in territorial control operations carried out by the Military Forces in Bajo Cauca antioqueño, and in response to early alerts of the Ombudsman's office, five members of the organized armed group, GAO, Los Caparros, were neutralized in combat in the rural area of the municipality of Cáceres, Antioquia.

The operation, which was carried out in a joint and coordinated manner conducted by the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Air Force, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, resulted in the death in the course of military operations of three individuals who would be members of this structure; troops captured two individuals.

Long-range weapons, including rifles and machineguns, as well as ammunition of different calibers, magazines, fragmentation grenades and military accessories, communications equipment and clothing alluding to this organized armed group, were in the same way found at the scene.

With this result it is possible to weaken the logistic and armed subsystem, as well as the command and control of this criminal organization, which has alias Flechas as its main ringleader.
