One house, two rural properties and three commercial establishments, were expropriated by the authorities, in the municipalities of Caucasia, Zaragoza and El Bagre, which belonged to the substructure ‘Francisco Morelo Peñate’ of the GAO Clan del Golfo.
The properties were part of the substructure ‘Francisco Morelo Peñate’ of the Organized Armed Group, GAO Clan del Golfo. They permanently increased its finances through the collection of money from rents, products marketing and illegal exploitation of mining deposits.
In this joint mission with the National Army and Interagency with the Attorney General's Office, a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and remotely manned aircraft of the Air Combat Command No.5 inserted and extracted troops and permanently monitored the execution of the operation, thus guaranteeing the safety by air and land of those in the proceedings.
