During just two weeks, troops of the Hercules Task Force dealt a heavy blow to the finances of alias Mordisco by more than $2,500 million COP, by destroying the logistical and financial structure in Tumaco, Satinga and the Telembi Triangle.
In a permanent operation, troops of the Hercules Task Force of Colombian National Army, within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Strategic Campaign Plan, deal a heavy blow to the illicit finances of the dissidents of the Guerrilla Coordination of the Pacific (Segunda Marquetalia) and structures of the Jacobo Arenas Western Bloc.
The destroyed 28 laboratories for the production of coca base paste and 4 coca leaf seedbeds, that would cost more than 2,500 million pesos, were a direct source of income for the purchase of weapons and ammunition used by the residual organized armed groups to intimidate the inhabitants and sustain their criminal structure in rural areas of Tumaco, Satinga and the Telembi Triangle, in the Nari帽o Pacific.
Through these operations, the troops protect lives, restore tranquility to the communities and continue to weaken the logistical and military operations capacity of the criminal structures that intend to sow fear and chaos in the Nari帽o Pacific region.
