Ministry of Defense and Military Forces strengthen the well-being of their heroes

Ministerio de Defensa y Fuerzas Militares fortalecen bienestar de sus héroes

In Medellín, the Minister of National Defense, Pedro Sánchez Suárez, presided over two important institutional events aimed at the well-being and recognition of the work of the military personnel, accompanied by the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Military Forces, Admiral Harry Ernesto Reyna Niño, and the Military High Commanders.

The Cuidando a Nuestros Héroes (Taking care of Our Heroes) wellbeing activity, aimed at the members of the Fourth Brigade of Colombian National Army, reaffirmed the importance of protecting the physical, mental and family health of those who serve Colombia with honor.

In the same way, the activity Un Puente Hacia Nuevas Oportunidades (A Bridge to New Opportunities) was launched and it opened a space for transition, accompaniment and projection for military in Preparation for Retirement, giving them new tools to strengthen their life project.

In this same frame the song Volver a Casa was introduced, a tribute full of feeling to the service, the devotion and the return home after fulfilling the duty.

These institutional spaces reflect the commitment of the Ministry of Defense and the Military Forces to the comprehensive well-being of their men and women, reaffirming that taking care of the military is to strengthen Colombia.
