Due to the heavy rains of recent days, floods and landslides have been generated on different roads in the departments of Cundinamarca and Tolima, for this reason, the Colombian Air Force is conducting constant monitoring through air patrols in all areas that have been damaged by rainfall in this region.

On this occasion, a flight was carried out with Tocaima Risk Management personnel flying over the municipalities of Tocaima, Apulo, Viotá and Nilo in the department of Cundinamarca.

In this reconnaissance mission, it was possible to verify the collapses that occur on the road that connects Apulo with Tocaima. Likewise, the collapse occurred in Viotá, in order to seek prompt solutions that allow prompt attention to this emergency caused by the rains that is crossing the country.

In this way, the Colombian Air Force demonstrates its high commitment to ensure the security and protection of the country, through all its aeronautical resources, with highly trained personnel to face the adversities that may arise.
