Supporting the National Vaccination Plan Covid-19, the Colombian Air Force transported, in the department of Antioquia 16,460 doses for inhabitants in the southwest.
So far, in Caravan type aircraft and Black Hawk UH-60 helicopters, more than 144,600 units have been transported to counteract the SARS-CoV-2 in this area of the country.
This transfer mission was accompanied by the National Army and the National Police, providing security at different points where the aircraft landed, to distribute vaccines to health personnel in municipalities such as Fredonia, Ciudad Bolívar and Urrao.
In this phase, more Colombians will have the complete vaccination, in order to achieve herd immunity and lead inhabitants with greater risk due to age or comorbidities to receive the vaccine.
