In order to maintain the size and weight of children from 0 to 5 years of age, beneficiaries of the Early Childhood Program of the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, ICBF, in Leticia, the Colombian Air Force carried out humanitarian transport of 22.5 tons, represented in food which will be given in the houses of the children.

The transport was carried out in a Jupiter-767 aircraft of the Colombian Air Force from the Air Command of military transport (CATAM), to the Air Group of the Amazon (GAAMA), where the cargo was received under all measures to prevent the contagion of Covid-19.

To date, 440,722 kilograms of humanitarian aid have been transported by the Colombian Air Force, an institution that, using its resources, contributes to fight against the new Coronavirus.

Thus, the Air Force, engaged in Operation San Roque, continues to provide the necessary support to the regions hit by the pandemic, especially the most remote areas of the national territory.
