During three operations against criminal organizations at the service of drug trafficking in the Colombian Pacific, units of the Colombian Navy found 2,580 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and marijuana, preventing the entry of about 31 million dollars to the illegal finances of these organizations.

The first operation took place in the sector known as Aguacate, a rural area of the municipality of Jurad贸 - department of Choc贸. At the time when Navy troops were conducting search and area control operations, the found a collection center, hidden in the middle of a wooded area in which two shotguns and eight packages containing 186 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were being found.

On the other hand, in the central Pacific, Coast Guard units conducting maritime control patrols intercepted a ship that was manned by three foreigners, two of them Nicaraguan and a Costa Rican, who were transporting 2,051 kilograms of marijuana.

Finally, in the waters of the San Juan River, in a rural area of the municipality of Litoral San Juan -Choc贸, in search and area control operations, Navy troops found a boat that had been abandoned by some individuals who escaped when noticing the work of members of the Military Forces. During the search, 343 kilograms of cocaine were found by troops in a double bottom of the ship's hull.

The three foreigners and the material found were put into custody of the authorities to continue the process of prosecution.
