In the Military Fort of Tolemaida, in order to strengthen the resources of the military operation of Colombian National Army, the Tactical Training and Recurrent training School (ESERT) carried out the preparation and Recurrent training of the personnel of the Direct Action and Reconnaissance Battalions (BADRES) that are part of the first rotation of 2026.
For six weeks, more than 300 men including officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers strengthened their military operation resources by receiving demanding and intensive training under the leadership of the ESERT, a unit that has highly qualified instructors.
Throughout this period, the military received instruction in water survival, weaponry, training grounds, health, planning, communications and direct action, differential resources that contribute to the strength of Colombian National Army's military operation.
It is important to note that the personnel were certified by the Air Assault School (ESASA) with the Basic Air Assault Course, a specialty that strengthens their skills and abilities to carry out airborne operations in places difficult to access.
Through this rigorous training, it seeks to prepare the troops to face various threats and works for the territorial order and security of the country, especially in areas of greater complexity such as the department of Arauca, Cauca, Guaviare, Meta and Norte de Santander.
