The 'Blue Santa Claus ' of the Air Force continues to reach the most remote populations, this time he arrived in the municipality of Planadas, in the department of Tolima, on board a helicopter Huey II of the Air Combat Command No 4. He arrived loaded with Presents and a lot of love.
The government of Tolima led this great activity, starting with a parade in the main park to the Army Operations Battalion No. 18, where children and adults could observe and enjoy the air show led by the Colombian Air Force crews, a show never before seen by the inhabitants of this region.
The helicopter that brought on board the 'Blue Santa Claus ', landed to open its doors to those who previously from far appreciated it, in order to provide the opportunity for all attendees to come and take pictures, leaving a memory of this activity not only in their minds, but in the same way deep in their hearts.
From there, they left for the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where they celebrated the Christmas novena with all the children of the municipality and those of the nearest villages.
More than 3,000 presents and refreshments were given to the children, in this activity supported by personnel of the National Police, the Government of Tolima, the municipality of Planadas and personnel of the Colombian Air Force.
