In order to contribute to the well-being of civilians, the Eastern Air Group of the Colombian Air Force has arranged its aircraft to carry out a mission to transport vaccines against COVID-19.
For this mission the crew arrived in the municipality of La Primavera distributing 220 vaccines, later 150 in Santa Rosalía, Vichada, guaranteeing the necessary logistics for the transport of the biologic elements, in order to comply with the National Vaccination Plan led by the National Government.
In order to reach the most remote places in the region, the Air Force carries out strict biosecurity protocols and under the refrigeration conditions that they must have; similarly, staff of the Vichada Health Secretariat is in charge of making the formal distribution of these elements in each municipality.
