With the finding of these narcotics, the distribution of about two million doses on the streets of the world was prevented.

The permanent operations against drug trafficking in the Colombian Pacific has led the Colombian Navy to find in recent days, during different operations, 4,427 kilograms of drugs, which were transported in Pacific waters to Central America, preventing the financial structures of drug trafficking organizations from receiving more than 41 million dollars.

In the central Pacific, the units of the Colombian Navy found in different areas of the Ocean, two boats, one manned by three men and the other by two individuals, carrying different sacks. The illegal goods, the boats and the individuals were taken to the District of Buenaventura in Valle del Cauca, where the judicial authorities conducted the respective tests that gave a positive result for marijuana, 1,536 kilograms were transported in one of the boats and 1,603 kilograms in the other. The individuals were put into custody of the authorities.

In the frame of operations of control and comprehensive maritime security, another boat was detected manned by two individuals, who jumped into the sea when they noticed the existence of military personnel. Taking into account the situation, the Colombian Navy sent two other surface units and conducted coordination with the Air Combat Command No.7 of the Colombian Aerospace Force, which deployed an aircraft to carry out search and rescue work on the individuals, without any success. The illegal merchandise was taken to the Buenaventura Coast Guard Station, where authorities determined that the packages contained 235 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 815 kilograms of marijuana. To date, there is a constant search operation for the men in the central Pacific.

Finally, in an operation carried out jointly with the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No.7 that deployed its phantom aircraft to support the maritime interception procedure, the units of the Colombian Navy conducted the pursuit of a ship whose crew members searched for a place on a beach and fled the place. During the inspection of the boat, military personnel found eight sacks, in which the authorities determined that they contained 240 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
