The soldiers brought medical assistance, personal care and recreational activities to the community.
Soldiers of the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion No. 2 Nueva Granada of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division, took this weekend development, wellbeing and recreation to the inhabitants of Cantagallo, south of Bolívar, with a Development Support Activity.
More than 500 people received services in general medicine, dentistry, optometry and personal care services. The little ones in the same way were trapped in the joy of the soldiers who, with playful activities, music, games, contests and presents, conducted the activity.
This activity was carried out thanks to the inter-institutional work conducted by the National Army, the Municipal Mayor's Office, universities in the region and the support of Professional Officers of the Reserve.
The commitment of the soldiers of the Fifth Brigade is not only to ensure the safety of the community, but to promote and generate spaces where inter-institutional efforts can be coordinated to contribute to their well-being and development.
