Helicopters of the Colombian Air Force belonging to the Air Combat Command No.4, have transported and transported more than 5,500 vaccines within the framework of the vaccination Plan against COVID-19 in the municipalities of Chaparral, Planadas, Alpujarra, Libano, Casablanca, Villahermosa, Dolores, San Antonio and Rioblanco in the department of Tolima, during the last weeks.

Guaranteeing the necessary logistics for the transport of biological, crews of CACOM 4 have been working to comply with the requirements made by the Government of Tolima in order to follow the National Vaccination Plan led by the National Government.

Taking into consideration all biosafety protocols and the cooling conditions that vaccines must have for their transport, the Colombian Air Force has all its resources to reach the most remote destinations of Tolima, in order to distribute vaccines in a timely manner and to provide support in areas of difficult access in the Department.
