More National Army resources arrive in Urabá to strengthen security

There are more than 50 soldiers equipped with differential Resources to directly confront the criminal activities of the GAO Clan del Golfo in urban areas in the municipalities of the Antioquia department subregion.

 

In order to support the military operations that have been conducted in the Urabá subregion, the National Army had a company of soldiers of the Urban Special Forces Battalion No.7 to strengthen the security of all the inhabitants in this area of the country. In total, there are more than fifty men with differential Resources to face the threat of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo in this important region of the country.

 

This company of soldiers, equipped and trained with differential resources mainly in urban areas complements the more than 1,000 men and women who are engaged in constant military operations throughout Antioquia, Cordoba and the Urabá subregion in Chocó that day and night are conducting military operations to control the terrorist activity of Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in this subregion.

 

In the same way, the troops on the ground continue to work on the roads and in rural areas, supported by National Army aircraft, with the aim of continuing to attack criminals, such as alias Chiquito Malo and alias Siopas, for whom rewards ranging from 3 billion to 5 billion pesos are provided for information for their capture.
