Simultaneously, two laboratories for the production of cocaine hydrochloride were destroyed, which would belong to the Organized Armed Groups, GAO, ELN and the residual GAO, Structure 33.

A new result in the frontal fight against drug trafficking was dealt in the department of Norte de Santander, thanks to the joint and coordinated efforts conducted by the National Army, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police.

The Division of Aviation of Air Assault, through the Command Against drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, CONAT, supporting the Second Division of the National Army, obtained the finding and destruction of two complexes used for the production of cocaine hydrochloride; the first was in the village Veinte de Julio, in Tibú, and the second, in the village Corinto, in Sardinata.

Military intelligence was decisive to find 1,450 kilograms of this narcotic, in addition to 400 kilograms of coca paste base.

In the same way, liquid and solid supplies, material and equipment, such as electricity generators, motor pumps, compressors and boilers were in the same way dismantled. These laboratories would cost more than two million dollars, and the drug would be destined for the main cities of North America and Europe.
