The individual, apparently, would be the person responsible for collecting money from extortion made against people and also microtrafficking coordinator in Tumaco, Nariño.
The Colombian Navy, within the framework of the Tumaco Seguro strategy and in coordination with the Police, managed to arrest alias Escoba, who would be accused of being a member of the Residual Organized Armed Group Iván Ríos and second criminal coordinator in the El Bajito neighborhood, in the municipality of Tumaco, Nariño.
At the urban area of this municipality, the troops of the Colombian Navy and the National Police, in compliance with a judicial order issued by the Tumaco sectional Attorney General's Office, arrested this individual, who must answer for the alleged crimes of aggravated homicide, illegal carrying of weapons and association to commit crimes.
According to information provided by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), this individual, would have a criminal experience of approximately 10 years in this gang, promoting drug trafficking and generating anxiety to the inhabitants of this region of the country.
