The procedure was carried out thanks to the deployment of Coast Guard units in the area, who carried out the search on the boat manned by four individuals, finding 41 barrels of fuels, which did not have the documents sought to verify their legality.
The ship was transferred to the dock of the Coast Guard Station in Tumaco - Nariño, where personnel of the Technical Research Corps - CTI, conducted the Approved Preliminary Identification Test - PIPH, determining that it was 2,065 gallons of foreign gasoline.
The four individuals, the fuel and the immobilized boat, were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office for the corresponding legal proceedings.
