Alias Ricardo Catatumbo is accused of coordinating and carrying out murders of social leaders in southern Bolívar.
In territorial control operations, troops of the National Army, in an inter-institutional work with the Prosecutor's Office, arrested in the municipality of Simití, south of Bolívar, alias Ricardo Catatumbo, alleged member of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, structure 37, who was apparently acting as a squadron ringleader.
According to the information reported by the authorities, this man would be linked to the selective homicide of social leaders in southern Bolívar. Alias Ricardo Catatumbo, had an arrest warrant in force for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes; aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, carrying or possessing firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
This person was given to the authorities, who will be in charge of continuing with the prosecution process.
