The soldiers of the thirtieth Brigade, of the Second Division of the National Army, in coordination with the police and inter-agency with the Attorney General's Office, captured 19 individuals who carried out illegal activities in a coal mine.

The operation carried out in the village Cerro Guayabo, in the municipality of El Zulia, Norte de Santander, led to neutralize the illegal operations carried out by individuals exploited by illegal armed groups for their financing.

These results left by the operation carried out by the Army and the National Police against the factors of instability that converge in the region, damage the illegal financial structures of these groups in a decisive way.

In the same way, troops of the thirtieth Brigade in pursuit of the safety and tranquility of the inhabitants of Norte de Santander will continue to carry out operations aimed at the protection of the environment.
