The vehicle was traveling on the Pan-American highway near the Betania toll road, at kilometer 78+300 on the Cali-Andalucía highway, Valle del Cauca, when members of the Military Forces after an inspection found the drug.
The two tons found are valued at more than 750 million pesos, about US$ 184,500.
The operation against illicit activities in Valle del Cauca is permanent with the purpose of weakening the logistical, financial and criminal structures of the organized armed groups that attack the communities of the region.
