In the Murillo Toro Park of Ibagué, a peasant market was held where 50 producing families sold their products.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, peasants in the region have been hit by different factors, for this reason the soldiers of the Battalion of Support of Comprehensive Action and Development No.5 and the program Fe en Colombia of the National Army, Social Prosperity, Rural Development Agency (ADR), the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing (ICBF), the Unit for the Assistance and Comprehensive Reparation for Victims (UARIV) and the National Police, were coordinated to contribute to the economic revival of 50 families producing in different municipalities of Tolima and Huila, who brought their products to market.

In Murillo Toro Park, each family had a space to show their items and offer them to attendees, such as: long onion, bananas, tomato, lettuce, jams, honey, coffee, wines, yogurt, cakes, biscuits, almojabanas, pajamas for children, accessories for women, among others. Most of the producers came from the municipalities of Pitalito, Huila and Valle de San Juan, Tolima.

The soldiers of the National Army committed to the comprehensive interventions, in the same way shared a healthy leisure activity with the children and adolescents, through activities of balloon twisting, jumping and face painting, contributing to the union of the families.
