In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Ground Operations Battalion No. 112, attached to the Second Brigade, in military operations, arrested in flagrante delicto three individuals with war material and military accessories belonging to the GAO Clan del Golfo, Edgar Madrid Benjumea Substructure.
Within the framework of these tactical tasks in the village of Las Palomas, in the municipality of Santa Rosa, south of Bol铆var, it was possible to find 21 explosive devices, a 12 mm caliber shotgun, a 9 mm traumatic pistol, 2 5.56 mm caliber magazines, 51 5.56 mm caliber cartridges, 3 chargers for radio communication, 10 9 volt batteries, 6 campaign equipment, 4 bracelets alluding to the Clan del Golfo, 5 camouflaged apparently for exclusive use of the Military Forces, 3 hammocks, 3 black sweatshirts, a multipurpose vest, 2 kilos of tar, 2 kilos of granulated explosive, serval grocery elements, 100 syringes, 526,000 Colombian pesos and 3 rudimentary weapons.
Through these operations, the Second Brigade, attached to the First Division of Colombian National Army, reaffirms its commitment to the well-being and security of the departments of Magdalena, Atl谩ntico and South of Bol铆var.
