In development of a security and defense operation, troops of the Ground Operations Battalion No.112 of the Joint Task Force Marte, in coordination with the National Police and the support of the Military Intelligence Battalion No.1, captured in flagrante a man who had in his possession illicit substances, in an urban area of the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur, Bolívar.
The capture was carried out for the crime of trafficking, manufacture, or carrying of narcotic drugs. At the time of his arrest by the authorities, he has 14 kilograms of coca-based paste, which was intended to be marketed in the municipality of Santa Rosa del Sur.
This operation was possible thanks to military intelligence work that seeks to attack drug trafficking and hit the Organized Gang (GDO) Los Ratones, gang to which this man allegedly belonged. With this capture it was possible to hit once again the illicit finances of the different drug trafficking illegal organizations that commit crimes in this area of the country.
The capture and the material seized were put into custody of the authorities for their respective judicial process.
