About 1,000 people actively participated in a development support activity by the National Army in coordination with municipal authorities, thus providing wellbeing and health to the inhabitants of Nariño.
Thanks to the coordinated work conducted by the Twenty-Third Brigade of the National Army, the Municipality El Peñol, National Police Foundation Heroes del Día a Día, was possible to bring well-being and care to the most vulnerable communities; these activities contribute to the consolidation of the territory and, in turn, highlighted the importance of the inter-agency coordination, which leads to an contribute to improving the quality of life of our citizens and to stimulate progress in the department.
In this opportunity, the inhabitants of the municipality of El Peñol, Nariño, were the beneficiaries of this activity, receiving medical care in the specialties of general medicine, nursing, pediatrics, dentistry, psychology, nutrition, social work, and hairdressing services.
In turn, recreational and cultural activities were carried out with the children and adolescents attending the activity, conducting balloon twisting, face painting and use of inflatables.
Through this activity it was possible to make the donation of food aid and the distribution of presents to the little ones, benefiting more than 1,000 people.
