National Army continues to conduct international academic exchanges

Ejército Nacional continúa los intercambios académicos internacionales

In 2025, Colombian Army reaffirms its international academic mobility, receiving on this occasion, two ensigns, students of the Académie Militaire de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan of France, who will be in the country for four weeks, to strengthen and exchange their academic, cultural and linguistic knowledge. This as part of the fulfillment of the understanding N° AT/EJC 07, signed at the Sixteenth Technical Meeting on Defense Cooperation, France - Colombia.

The students began their visit at the General José María Córdova Cadet Military School, alma mater of Colombian National Army officers where they shared with the future second lieutenants various academic activities as part of the process of military and practical theoretical training.

Later, they visited the School of Military Engineers where they learned about national resources in relation to anti-personnel mines, explosive devices, civil and military engineering, aligned with Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law.

The meeting in turn leads to cultural exchange and the strengthening of international cooperation ties, showing the preparation of the Colombian soldier.

In this way, the Education and Doctrine Command continues to strengthen the different academic processes.
