In the north of Tolima, in Lérida and Herveo, it was possible to reduce crimes such as illegal exploitation of natural resources and manufacturing, carrying of weapons and ammunition.
Six arrests were possible by our soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No.16 Patriotas of the Sixth Brigade in the municipalities of Lérida and Herveo respectively. In the first action, the arrest of three individuals in flagrante delicto was reported, who were cutting down trees in the area, while in the second operation three people were arrested with war material.
While, in Lérida, three individuals were arrested thanks to an intelligence work in coordination with the National Police. In the place they were felling 9.2 meters of Igua type tree with a commercial cost of approximately $600 thousand pesos. In the same way, a chainsaw is found in the place; Cortolima accompaniment is coordinated and the individuals were put into custody of the Prosecutor's Office for the crime of illicit exploitation of natural resources.
Meanwhile in Herveo, thanks to information of the community, where they indicate that there are three suspicious individuals, the padlock plan is activated in coordination with the National Police and it was possible to arrest these men, who had in their possession 02 9mm caliber Prietto Beretta pistols, 01 38 mm caliber revolver, 02 magazines, 80 9mm caliber cartridges, 18 38 mm caliber cartridges and 03 cell phones, being immediately put into custody of the authorities for the crimes of trafficking, manufacturing, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories or ammunition.
