Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), in coordination with the Gaula  of the National Police, arrested six people in San Bernardo, Cundinamarca, accused of the alleged crime of extortion.

Thanks to the denunciations of the citizens, the authorities established that those arrested, would be posing as members of the residual organized armed group Jorge Suárez Briceño, and they would have demanded an approximate sum of two million pesos from the inhabitants of a village, apparently in exchange for not attacking against their lives.

During the military operation, the authorities found a pistol, 2 pistol magazines, 7 cartridges, a communications radio, 6 cell phones and military accessories materials.

This operational result, takes place within the framework of the campaign I don't pay, I denounce, the illegal finances of the organized crime groups that commit crimes in the department of Cundinamarca are hit.

The troops of the Thirteenth Brigade, a unit of the Fifth Division of the National Army, reaffirm their commitment to the security of Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
