Thanks to the EXDE team of Colombian National Army, the timely destruction of the explosive device was possible.
Military intelligence information led soldiers of the 16th Patriotas Infantry Battalion, of the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army, to find a 60 mm grenade-type improvised explosive device on the El Triunfo farm, in the municipality El Líbano.
This explosive device could have caused serious damage to a house or establishment, due to its explosive charge; once the soldiers find this IED, support is requested of the explosives and demining teams, who take it to a safe place, away of the civilians of the rural area; in this way, proceeding to its destruction.
In this way, the institution not only works for the safety of the inhabitants, but in the same way prevents criminals from sowing anxiety in the north of Tolima, thanks to the immediate reaction of its soldiers of the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army.
