It is a complex for the production of cocaine hydrochloride, which has the capacity to produce 1.2 tons of this narcotic per month. With this, there are already eight laboratories that have been neutralized so far in 2022 in the area of operations of the Twenty-Third Brigade of the National Army.

Deploying all the resources against the factors of instability that hit security in the department of Nari帽o, the National Army produced a significant loss to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, the Jos茅 Luis Cabrera Ruales Company, after dismantling a cocaine hydrochloride production laboratory that would cost about 1,500 million pesos.

The troops arrived in the village El Palmar, a rural area of the municipality of C贸rdoba, in the south of the department. In coordination with the National Police, they found a wooden structure in which chemical precursors for the drug production were found by troops.

In addition, approximately more than 2,700 gallons of liquid precursors were found by troops at the site; these elements are presumed to be used to achieve the monthly production of 1.2 tons of this narcotic.

According to military intelligence, the money obtained by this organized armed group through this illicit activity was used for the purchase of weapons and explosive material intended to attack the Military Forces. Similarly, it is presumed that they would be marketing this narcotic through illegal crossings on the border between Colombia and Ecuador.
