The soldiers of the 13th Brigade continue to distribute humanitarian aid and carry out preventive operations in the center of the country.

Soldiers of the Artillery Battalion No. 13 General Fernando Landazábal Reyes, with the support of the Disaster Prevention and Assistance Battalion No. 80 of the National Army, carried out a disinfection activity in the municipality of Usme, south of Bogotá. The activity in the same way included some security patrols in the Santa Librada and La Aurora neighborhoods. At the end of the day, the residents of the sector were very grateful for the intervention, which constitutes a preventive measure, which contributes to a better reactivation of some economic sectors.

In the same way, in the municipality of Chipaque in Cundinamarca, the soldiers of this tactical unit, in coordination with the district administration, distributed 300 baskets of food to a group of vulnerable families who are complying with the mandatory preventive isolation measure decreed by the National Government, with the main objective of mitigating the impact on the family basket due to the pandemic.

In the framework of Operation San Roque, the National Army through the 13th Brigade continues to work with full commitment to guarantee the safety and well-being of the inhabitants of the center of the country.
