With the finding of this drug, the commercialization of 560 million doses is stopped.
Troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats (CONAT), in compliance with the Campaign Plan of the military operation Ayacucho Plus, in coordination with the National Police, in the village of El Ojito, Algarrono sector, of San José de Cúcuta, Department of Norte de Santander, as a result of the military operation, reported the finding of 280 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 407 gallons of cocaine in process, which were planned to be marketed by members of the Juan Fernando Porras Martínez Front, of the organized armed group (GAO) ELN, in Europe.
The military operation that in the same way led to the finding of 934 gallons of N–propyl acetate, necessary for the production of the drug, showed the use of a rudimentary decantation system and distillation, which generate serious damage to the environment, by the use of these chemical substances.
Thus, it was possible to hit this armed group by approximately 3,400 million pesos.
In 2025, the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats (CONAT), has made the finding of 9,433 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 11,692 gallons of cocaine in process to armed groups that converge in the regions of Colombia.
Colombian National Army continues to deploy all its resources in Colombian territory, in order to counter the problem of drug trafficking, the engine responsible for the illicit activities of criminal organizations.
