In a coordinated work with the National Police, troops of the Specific Command of Cauca, of the Third Division of the National Army, in development of territorial control military operations, managed to find 414 kilograms of marijuana, in La Agustina, Santander de Quilichao, and El Crucero, in Caloto, in the department of Cauca.
The first event is reported when the men of the Infantry Battalion No.8 Batalla de Pichincha, of the Apolo Operational Command, through intelligence work in La Agustina sector, in Santander de Quilichao, find six suspicious sacks in the back of the communitarian room, which contained about 380 kilograms of marijuana.
On the other hand, when a checkpoint was carried out in the area of the Crucero de Guali, in Caloto, 34 kilograms of marijuana, which was transported by two individuals on a motorcycle without plates, were found. These individuals, noticing the presence of the Army and the Police, escaped, dropping a bag containing the packages with the substance wrapped in tape.
