In the course of military operations, troops of the Vulcano Task Force, attached to the Second Division of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police, find 51 packages of Creepy marijuana, apparently belonging to the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, in the municipality of Cúcuta, Norte de Santander.
Hallucinogens were manufactured in an empty lot in the neighborhood of El Mirador, of the city of Cúcuta, by using a structure in plastic and different presses for compression and wrapping of marijuana, which achieved a distribution in different areas of the department of Norte de Santander and subsequent sale abroad.
Simultaneously, in the municipality of Las Mercedes, Norte de Santander, troops of the Ground Operations Battalion No.9, of the Vulcano Task Force, through tactical task they find approximately 220 gallons of acetone, belonging to the GAO ELN, front of Juan Fernando Porras Martínez.
The procedure was carried out in the municipality of Las Pailas, where troops of the National Army, through territorial control operations, noticed the liquid precursors for the production of coca base paste stored in four barrels, with a capacity of 55 gallons each. These were destroyed in controlled conditions and without harming the environment.
