National Army finds in the department of Meta fuel that would cost more than 6,000 million pesos

In addition to the fuel, it was possible to immobilize five tractor-trailers that did not have the legal permit for transportation.

Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, National Army troops reported the finding of more than 19,000 gallons of petroleum mixture, more than 10,700 gallons of diluent, more than 9,000 gallons of petroleum and 8,700 gallons of gasoline, according to the Fuel Special Operation Group No.5, in more than 6,000 million pesos.

This result was reported in the municipality of Guamal, where in a coordinated work with the Police of the Department Meta, the inspection was carried out on the five vehicles, thus it was identified that they did not carry the legal documentation to transport fuel.

The immobilized vehicles and the material were put into custody of the Police of the municipality of Guamal, to carry out the relevant operations.

This represents an important weakening of fuel smuggling in the department of Meta, which in the same way contributes to the preservation of the fuel industry in the Eastern Plains.
