In the hiding place, the members of the Dagoberto Ramos Mobile Column stored 150 kilograms powder mixed with ANFO in four barrels.
Within the framework of the Plan Perseo and in military operations against the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, troops of the ZEUS Consolidation and Stabilization Operational Command managed to dismantle the criminal activities of the residual GAO in the south of the department of Tolima, by finding an illegal hideout with important explosive material that the outlaw armed structure intended to use in violent operations, with which the lives of the inhabitants of this region of the country would be endangered, as well as the good physical condition of the soldiers who work for the security and tranquility of the area.
Thus, the troops of the Ground Operations Battalion No.18, with information provided by military intelligence, in coordination with the Investigative Technical Staff of the Attorney General's Office and the Air Combat Command No.4, arrived at the place known as Campo Trucha, a rural area of the municipality of Planadas, with the mission of finding this clandestine hiding place of the Dagoberto Ramos Mobile Column.
There, the troops found four barrels with 150 kilograms of powder mixed with ANFO and 41 81-millimeter hand grenades. This explosive material was destroyed in the area of operations by the personnel of the EXDE group, after the respective prosecution carried out by officials of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office 1 of the Bogotá Territorial Support Directorate.
