The war material would belong to the individual known as Efrén, accused of being the second ringleader of the residual Organized Armando Group, GAO-r, Substructure 28.
Troops of the National Army, through operations, found an illegal hideout containing abundant war material and military accessories, in the municipality La Capilla, in the municipality of Hato Corozal, Casanare.
In this hideout, were found by troops, long weapons, a manufactured short weapon, abundant ammunition of different calibres, magazines for AK-47 rifle, communication equipment, material of military accessories and propaganda alluding to the residual GAO Substructure 28. The material was put into custody of the authorities.
With this war material, the residual GAO intended to carry out activities of extortion and intimidation of civilians in the departments of Casanare and Arauca.
