The Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, would be hiding in the midst of civilian lands, war materiel and military accessories.
With the purpose to neutralize the intentions of terrorists of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, the National Army in a military operation, inter-agency with the office of the Attorney General, intensified and strengthened the network of civic participation, achieving the weekend, the finding of an illegal hideout with abundant war material and military accessories.
The military operation took place in El Tigre, in the municipality of Saravena, department of Arauca, where an illegal hideout was found with 29 multipurpose vests, six field teams, three camouflaged fabrics and a flag alluding to the GAO Eln; this material was put into custody of the authorities.
The National Army calls on the community in general in the department of Arauca to continue denouncing to the national toll-free line 147 any suspicious act that threatens their security and tranquility in this region of the country.
