The operation against drug trafficking continues in 2023.
After territorial control work, 480 kg of cocaine were found in an illegal laboratory by soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion No.13 in the Mirasoles village of Buenos Aires, Cauca, hitting the illicit activities of criminal structures.
This place had a length of 15 meters, in which different electrical equipment such as ovens, packing machines and electricity adaptors had been planted for the production of the drug.
A significant amount of fuels and chemicals used for production were in the same way found at the site, including more than 1,200 gallons of thinner, which, if used, would have caused big damage to the environment.
