In the area, there is a heavy operation against organized armed groups, GAO, ELN and Clan del Golfo, who intimidate the inhabitants for the control of drug trafficking.

Troops of the seventeenth Brigade of the National Army, the Colombian Air Force, the Colombian Navy, the police and the prosecutor's Office have destroyed 10 improvised explosive devices in areas where Indigenous communities live in the municipality of Murind贸, in Urab谩 region Antioquia.

In the same way, with the Government of Antioquia, the Victims Unit of the National Government and local authorities, more than 12 tons of humanitarian aid reached these communities.

This humanitarian assistance operation will continue for the next few days and it is expected that more than 25 tons of aid can reach these communities.

This municipality is a mobility route of illicit income and is disputed by the organized armed group, GAO, Eln and the GAO Clan del Golfo; for this reason, the Voltigeros Battalion of the seventeenth Brigade was deployed in the area to protect communities in the region.
