By 2023, the soldiers of the Joint Task Force Aquiles aim to plant 300,000 trees native to these regions of the country.

Within the framework of the Amazonas Plan, in the Airborne Infantry Battalion No.31 Rifles, in the municipality of Cáceres, Antioquia, the Hand in hand sowing the future campaign was launched, led by the Joint Task Force Aquiles, which seeks to reforest the territories degraded by illegal mining and illicit plantations in the Bajo Cauca region of Antioquia and south of Córdoba, with the support of different public and private institutions, which will contribute to the fulfillment of the mission in the municipalities of these regions of the country.

In the same way, at the inauguration, the course on Multiplication and Propagation of Plant Material was opened, which will be taught by teachers of the SENA of Caucasia, where 9 non-commissioned officers and 18 soldiers will be trained, so that they have tools that led them to lead in their military units and in the communities the processes in reforestation, creation and strengthening of rudimentary nurseries.

Institutions such as the Mayor's Office of Caucasia, Corantioquia, the SENA Caucasia and Mineros Aluvial participated in the event, where they highlighted the operation that the National Army has carried out not only in terms of security, but in the same way in environmental care. In the same way, they reaffirmed their support for the Joint Task Force Aquiles, in issues of environmental care, which has been hit by the different factors that weaken biodiversity in the region.
