Within the framework of the Ayacucho Strategic Campaign Plan and the Amazon Strategic Operations Line, troops of the 51st Rainforest Battalion, of the Twenty-Second Rainforest Brigade, in coordination with the National Police and the Municipal Mayor's Office of Miraflores, carry out an environmental activity focused on the protection of the environment and biodiversity.
During the activity, 3,000 seedlings were planted in the rural area of the municipality, as part of the actions aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change and contributing to the conservation of natural resources in the department of Guaviare.
This initiative had the active participation of local authorities, who complemented this inter-institutional effort that seeks to increase awareness about the importance of taking care of the environment and promote the sustainable development of the region.
